Tech Terror

Things are moving along with Bloodshed. While working on the second draft of Almost Alone, I also started a new Test of Mettle story, titled Tech Terror, featuring Trey, a veteran IT manager, who is stuck working late into the night during Christmas week no less. It's 2021--the second year of the pandemic--and only adds to his sour mood. Bad bosses show just how bad they can behave. He and a security guard seated at the front desk are the only people in the building. At 11:34, a third occupant freshly arrived from Hell will join them, and it will feast its chaotic eyes on Trey. What Trey does not realize is that his night is about to get a whole lot worse.
