Things are moving along with Bloodshed.
While working on the second draft of Almost Alone, I also started a new Test of Mettle story, titled "Tech Terror, Part 1." It features Trey, a veteran IT manager, who is stuck working late into the night during Christmas week, no less. It's 2021—the second year of the pandemic—and it only adds to his sour mood. Bad bosses show just how badly they can behave. He and a security guard seated at the front desk are the only people in the building. At 11:34, a third occupant, freshly arrived from Hell, will join them, and it will feast its chaotic eyes on Trey. Trey doesn't realize his night is about to get a whole lot worse.
