Copyright Submitted for First Book of 11:34 Series

After wrapping up the final edits at 3:25 a.m., I researched how to copyright literary works after consulting 2 lawyers, an author, and others who strongly recommended taking steps to protect my work.

So I did.

This afternoon, around 3 pm ET, I submitted my first-ever claim to the United States Copyright Office. It cost $35, but it will be well worth it to keep my "baby" safe. The process was surprisingly easy and took about 20 minutes.

I cannot begin to express my joy. My first-ever novel is completed, and it will be copyrighted.
